About Us

Our Vision

Cox's Wholesale Seafood is committed to producing only wholesome quality seafood products that meet all government regulations, legal requirements, and Global Food Safety Certification Standards. We maintain compliance by following established Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, by using a fully developed and implemented Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system, and by scheduled in-house monitoring and Internal Audits. Further, we verify compliance with these programs by scheduling Third Party Food Safety/ Quality Audits (British Retail Consortium - BRC) and United States Department of Commerce (USDC) Lot Inspections. We also partner with Southeastern Fisheries Association. The  Southeastern Fisheries Association represents shrimp vessels and processors that handle over 85% of shrimp landings in Florida. The association’s members handle most of the spiny lobster, stone crab, king mackerel and other fin-fish. The association is a leader in HACCP Certification and in developing programs mandating true weight, true identify of species and Seafood Sanitation training.

Utilizing all of the information generated by the above actions, we strive for continuous improvement in meeting or exceeding our customer's expectations.
